QUINTA DA MARINHA, CASCAIS

This vila in Quinta da Marinha, Cascais, was built in 1960’s. The client is a Spanish family who found was put in touch with us through an other client of ours. We accompanied them from the beginning, supporting their search and appraisal up until its current execution phase. This project was chosen over three other potential choices. We helped choose the architects, the prestigious Contacto Atlântico. The project started with the intention to restore only, but then extended to new basement extension with technical areas and changing the shape of the swimming pool from round to square. The vila has eight bedrooms spread across one floor, t-shaped facing the inner courtyard. There is also an annex and garage for two cars. The property does not have any degree of classification or graduation of cultural or national interest, public or municipal applied to cultural goods. The project has sustainability ambitions to be powered by solar panels.
