A brand evolution to reflect shared values

15.09.20

VerdeOeste are proud of our close association with London-based Westgreen, who recently announced their rebrand to mark their 21st Anniversary. Given our close proximity and shared values of trust, assured delivery and quality service, we are pleased to align our own identity with theirs.

The new graphic identity reinforces these values and represents the relationships we have developed over the years with clients and business partners alike. Our ‘project guardianship’ purpose remains, as we support & represent a growing number of clients with prestigious projects located in Portugal mainland and beyond.

The creative intent was the selection of a classic typeface in optically centred alignment, bounded by generous space. Our corporate colour in ‘heritage’ green completes the aesthetic, also reflecting the number or historical restoration projects we undertake.

A rural boutique hotel project in Sintra

13.03.19

Quinta de Valmarinha is an 18th century farmhouse with architectural features suggesting parts may date back to the 16th century. The owners of this magnificent property, located on the outskirts of the village of Almoçageme (within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sintra), are a married couple with their own Architectural practice in London (De Rosee Sa Architects).

As new investors in the Portuguese market, our clients required local, expert support with communications and required approvals from numerous national entities, which led them to VerdeOeste. We are working closely with them to help secure the necessary approvals and available fiscal incentives, along with building a local team to deliver all aspects of the proposed conversion of this farmhouse and surrounding landscape into a boutique rural hotel with 20 rooms.

It is proposed that we will follow the project acting through to completion when Quinta de Valmarinha will be ready to be enjoyed by local and international guests for holiday rentals, weddings, corporate and other events.

Afonso Sanches Palacete, the conversion of a small palace in historic Cascais

12.03.19

This prestigious project involves the rehabilitation and extension of an old palacete from the 18th century to provide four super-prime homes, incorporating underground parking, garden and swimming pool above. Located in the historic centre of Cascais, sensitive planning and execution will be paramount. More on this project very soon.

“As newcomers to the Portuguese market, we were keen to appoint a professional manager with local expertise to help us negotiate the planning regulations and appoint the best resources to complete every aspect of this exclusive development in the heart of Cascais, from construction through to completion.

We met with John and Luis at VerdeOeste and it was immediately obvious to us that they would be our ideal partners as they clearly understood the vision for the type of project we wanted and we were reassured by the developments they have already completed, that demonstrate the standards we could expect from a project under their guardianship.

We have been impressed with their recommendations for professional services, their local knowledge and in particular Luis’ ability to keep things moving forward all the time. We are confident that under VerdeOeste’s direction, our development will meet the highest of our expectations on time and budget.” – T. & A. Boyle (clients)
